Double-Lipped Water Vessel | SOLD

Handbuilt and burnished large water vessel with two pouring lips.

 

Smoke fired using sycamore wood chippings, a waste product from a local carpenters workshop, and waxed to protect and give a light sheen to the burnished surface. The interior is smoked to a dark brown-black whilst the exterior has subtle smoke spots against the white clay.

 

This is the largest vessel I have made to date.
