A small domed stoneware money pot glazed with welsh clay and ash.
 
Based on medieval ceramic money pots commonly used to collect theatre donations circa 16th century in London. Completely sealed with a vertical coin slot. When full they would be smashed to retrieve coins. Unbroken money pots are rarely found today.
